Unaccompanied minors between the age of 5 to 11 years are treated with special assistance and care while travelling, like pre-boarding, extra snacks, assistance, etc. For these additional services, Fee is charged by the airlines. Lufthansa is one of the few carriers that offer help for unaccompanied minors travelling solo. Lufthansa Unaccompanied Minor Fee is 95 USD for Europe trip inside Germany, Austria and Switzerland, travel with in the north Africa charges will be 105 USD , the centre east and Arab district it will be 130 USD, charges for the medium take and long stretch global flight charges will be 140 USD and 170 USD separately.
