Hi, I think that it is always better apply to some special games to train memory abilities. Check out these memory games for seniors https://myallamericancare.com/blog/2020/02/26/top-6-fun-and-memory-games-for-seniors/ Even though your grandparents may not be able to always come up with the right answer quickly or find it at all, the efforts they make are extremely vital. They give their brain tasks that stimulate it, they communicate with other people and also remember words or terms. Hope it will make sense for you

As an exercise, multi-tasking presents more of a mental workout.

A typical and worthwhile example would be execution of a mental task list:

Start by planning a set of three tasks to do in the span of ten minutes and, without writing them down, do all three. For example, it might be Open the accumulated mail; separate out the bills; sit down to start paying them.
Increase difficulty by planning three tasks that will take longer and be subject to interruptions. For example, it might be Return Emilys voicemail message; read email; water the plants.
