How to link an iOS device to Smart TV

The iOS gadgets are a more significant source of playing videos. Nowadays, everyone likes to see videos on YouTube on a bigger screen instead of viewing on a 10-inch screen. So it is a great idea to connect your iPhone to your smart TV, by using HDMI adaptor or with an analogue adapter.

There are a few ways to connect your iPhone to your Smart TV:

  1. With an HDMI Adapter and Cable
  • Get an HDMI adapter.

Apple and third-party products to create lightning to HDMI adapters that link to your iOS charging dock.

  • An iOS 4 will need a 30 pin to HDMI adapter.
  • Only iOS 4 or latest can connect your Smart TV over HDMI.
  • Get an HDMI cable.
  • Link the HDMI adapter to your iOS.
  • Link one end of the HDMI cable to the adapter and the other to an HDMI dock on your Smart TV.
  • HDMI plug is on the back sides of a Smart TV.
  • Check the HDMI dock number. You will get this as a labelled on the TV.
  • Switch on the TV and iOS, if they are not already switched on.

 

  • Navigate and click the input selector for the TV.
