The QuickBooks error 80070057 occurs when you do not have adequate permissions to delete the QuickBooks files. Heres how you fix it

1. Open your company file on QuickBooks Desktop correctly.

2. Try updating QuickBooks so that it has all the latest features.

3. Make sure QuickBooks has adequate admin permissions so it runs smoothly.

4. Move your company file back to its default location.

5. Install the QuickBooks Tool hub and run the QuickBooks File Doctor.

6. Try to resolve the QuickBooks error 80070057 manually by renaming the .ND file. If you are using QuickBooks in multi-user mode, try running the QuickBooks Database Manager on your server.
