You can contact Xfinity support or utilize the Xfinity app if you rent an xFi Gateway.
Scroll down to Troubleshooting on the xFi page and select Restart.
Scroll down to Connection Trouble in the Xfinity app and click Restart Gateway.

Select Manage Internet from the drop-down menu.
To start troubleshooting, select Restart Modem.
To restart your modem, select Start Troubleshooting. This could take up to seven minutes, during which time your Internet will be unavailable.
By following these procedures, you can manually restart your Gateway as well as most third-party networking equipment.
