What meaning does the issue “QBDBMgrN not running on this computer" indicate?

The problem-based notification 'QBDBMGRN Not running on this Computer' suggests that the data source server manager has actually quit working. QuickBooks might also be impeded by the firewall, preventing it from talking with internet servers. If QuickBooks is unable to open or launch as a consequence of this interference, it might be the reason.
