QuickBooks Error 6190
Permalink

Accounting software QuickBooks offers advanced features. Users could choose between single-user and multi-user modes. In multi-user mode, files are stored on a server and can be accessed by multiple users who are connected to the server PC as clients.' However, it is rare for a user to have to deal with various technical bugs that arise while accessing QuickBooks in multi-user mode. It appears when multiple users open the file in 'single-user mode' as opposed to using QuickBooks as a multi-user process. QuickBooks error -6190 -816 appears when multi-user companies open the file in single-user mode.
