I won't recommend you to hide any third-party apps on your smartphone (either iPhone or Android) because sometimes it creates charging conflict in the background and your iPhone won't charge even if it's plugged into a power adapter. In that case, you have to factory reset your iPhone to fix the charging issue, and the chance of data loss will be always associated.
