Intuit has provided users with the facility to add EIN to QuickBooks Payroll. But there are some requirements for adding EIN to payroll.

  • Let us look at some of the important limitations in adding EIN to QB payroll.
  • Users must have updated QuickBooks Desktop software.
  • Each QB Desktop has a limitation on the number of companies you can add to a single subscription.
  • QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Basic can add a maximum of 3 EIN.
  • QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Enhanced for accountants can add a maximum of 50 EIN.
  • QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Assisted charge separately for each EIN.
