Steps to Recover lost data with QuickBooks Auto Data Recovery

 

Recovering recent transactions using .QBW.adr and .TLG.adr files

 

  • The user can use ADR version of both .QBW and .TLG files, by following the steps below:
  • The first step is to create a new folder on the desktop named QBTEST
  • And then open the folder where the company file is saved
  • After that find out .TLG.adr and .QBW.adr files. These files have the same name as the company file
  • Showing the file extensions

 

o   This can be done by opening the file explorer, press Windows + E

 

o   And select organize, and then select folder and search options

 

o   Now, select hide extensions for known file types

 

o   And choose apply and ok tabs

 

  • The user needs to copy the .TLG.adr and .QBW.adr files and paste them to the folder
  • The next step is to remove the .adr from the end of the file name.
  • And open QuickBooks
  • Now, open the company file saved on QBTEST folder
