There is not one, but many factors are responsible for the freezing and rebooting issues on your Roku streaming device. See the issues and improvements below.
Roku Freezing Headphones Connected to the Remote: Sometimes, Roku devices start freezing and the headphones just reboot because your Roku remote is connected.
Take out the power cable from the power source and remove the headphones from the restraining remote.
Take out the inserted battery from your stop remote and wait for at least 20 seconds before putting it back.
Now reboot your Roku and check for the latest update.
Observe the recent changes made: Check out the apps and channels that you have added and installed on your Roku just before experiencing Roku freezing and rebooting issues. Some Roku apps and channels may interfere with the entire functioning of your Roku. We would suggest you to remove those apps and channels and the problems and issues that you added before they happened.
Disable the Nintendo Switch from Roku: When you play the Pokemon Sword and Shield game, you will only encounter Roku rebooting and freezing issues from the end of the Nintendo Switch.
Update and unplug your Roku streaming device.
Disable the Hispanic switch by putting it on airplane mode.
