If you want to set up a WordPress Error Log, when you have to encounter any of the following situations:

1. When there is a blank screen while loading the website.
2. When an error code ( 400 or five hundred series displays), and there is some warning.
3. When website crashes.
4. A website performs very slow.
5. When any theme or plugin does not work properly.
6. When the issue is due to the theme or plugin, but there is a performance issue with the same.

Steps to setup a WordPress Error Log

In normal cases, there are two routes that enable error log through debug mode:
Either manually Or with a plugin.

Step1- Access or edit wp-config file
Step2- Add code line in config.php file for switching on debug mode

If you are not comfortable with the indirect editing of wp configuration, there is the second option that is using the free WP Debugging plugin.
