Jammu and Kashmir BJP president Ravinder Raina, who had visited slain colleague Waseem Baris residence along with several other leaders in Kashmirs Bandipora, tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday.
Raina took to Twitter to announce that he tested positive for Covid-19.
He was accompanied by Union minister and Udhampur MP Dr Jitendra Singh, BJP national vice-president Avinash Rai Khanna and general secretary Ram Madhav who have gone into self-quarantine with immediate effect.
As per sources, he has been hospitalised in Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Super Specialty Hospital in Kakryal, Reasi district.
