Fix WordPress HTTP Error When Uploading Images
Permalink

This is the most common error that we might come across while uploading an image in your website. The cause of this error can be due to less memory available for Wordpress to use. This can be fixed just by increasing the memory that is available for the WP. You need to increase the value of memory PHP in order to obtain the memory for WP. Also, you need to make sure that this error is just temporary and not permanent. There are 2 modules Imagick and GD Library on which WP PHP runs. Imagick is always known for its repeated errors along with it. To fix this you need to update your GD library as a default editor for image upload. There are some codes with which you can fix this problem. These codes are available in any browser you use and are for free. Access them to resolve the issue. The next method can be using the .htaccess method. This method involves the limiting space for Imagick and avoids the error occurring due to it. These are the few solutions that help solve the HTTP error while uploading the image in WordPress
