How to Fix Syntax And Parse Error in WordPress?

Parse error in WordPress occurs most often due to problems created by the end-user. A developer with experience in this field will face no issue to fix the error. If you are completely new about the addition and modification of code on your website, then you will have trouble to figure out this error.

 

Different causes of parse or syntax error in WordPress

Parse error syntax error can be fixed with FTP client, have a quick look here. To find the exact line of error, you can download a text editor and open the file.

 

Fixing the parse syntax error:

To fix the syntax error, paste the code into your file and be confirmed that it is accurately pasted. Each file in PHP is started with opening tag <?   And ends with closing ?> tag. Check and confirm whether complete code falls between these tags.

 

Once the error in syntax is found, upload the file to your website again. If you are not able to find out the way to fix code, you can try to upload a fresh version of the file. If problem is with the theme, you can download copy it.
