• • LJP Chief Chirag Paswan wrote a letter to the president and requested him to confer a national award for Jyoti on 26th January for her courage.
  • Chirag said that Jyoti's courageous of cycling 1200 KM with her father as pillion is being talked about not only in India but even in foreign countries. 
  • He said, "Its my request that considering the courageous work of Jyoti, she be conferred with President award on the occasion of 26th January, next year." 
  • While Union Minister Kiren Rijiju also said that he will ask the SAI officials and Cycling Federations of India to report to him after conducting trials of Jyoti.
  • RJD leader Rabari Devi also held a conversation with Jyoti and her mother and assured them of supporting her studies and marriage.
