Solving WordPress HTTP Error When Uploading Images

In case, when you receive WordPress HTTP error when uploading images, then dont panic and try some useful tips given below

 

  • Wait for a while as error might be for the short term due to heavy traffic on the website. Try again after sometime
  • Check the image format and size. Change the format and size that is applicable to the image editor
  • Enlarge the current PHP memory of the website, because limited memory might create an error in uploading the image
  • Correct the .htaccess file of the website
  • Maybe the current theme is disturbing the site; try replacing it with the default theme
  • In case, you find the existing WordPress files have a problem, then download a fresh version of the default file and upload it to the server
