• Former CM of J&K Mehbooba Mufti's detention has been extended for three more months.
• This announcement came hours before her detention was due to expire.
• Similarly, the detention of NC senior leader Ali Mohammed Sagar, and senior PDP leader Sartaj Madani, was also extended by another three months.
• J&K's Home Dept informed that the extension of PSA was made under the public order provisions of the act.
• At present, Mehbooba Mufti is lodged at her residence which has been converted into a subsidiary jail.
