Coronavirus: Delhi Tally Cross 5000 Mark, Containment Zones Reduced to 88

  • With 206 fresh cases, coronavirus cases in Delhi crossed the 5000-mark.
  • While the total number of containment zones in Delhi has come down to 88 after 2 more zones were de-contained.
  • Areas that were de-contained are B-1/2, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi, and B-333, Hari Nagar, New Delhi. 
  • Strict compliance of lockdown will continue to be followed in areas that are no more a containment zone. 
  • The authorities have said that social distancing and masks are still compulsory in the areas even for hawkers and vendors.
