• According to Union Health Ministry data, India reported nearly 600 cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, taking the total to 27,892.
• In the last 24 hours, 1396 corona cases and 48 deaths were reported.  
• There are 20,835 active COVID-19 cases and 6,184 people so far, have been cured or discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours, says health ministry data. 
• The death toll of the country has reached 872.
• Maharashtra continues to be the worst-hit State with 8,068 cases of which 1,076 patients have recovered and 342 patients have died.
