The Http error 500 WordPress is related to the website server. The irritating thing about error 500 is that there is no information about the reason. Expand the Limit of PHP memory

 Due to regular content posting, new plugins installation, heavy theme implementation on the website, PHP memory of the website reached its limit. Due to the exhausting limit, it might cause WordPress error 500, hence; expand the limit in .htaccess file, php.ini file or Wp-config.php file

Eliminate the problem creating plugins

 One of the Plugins might be the reason behind internal server error 500. Remove such plugins to fix the error.

Themes should be removed

Check if the theme of the website is creating an issue. Delete themes and then check the website. If the website gets back to the original status, then it was the theme issue.

Make new .htaccess file: 

If the problem persists in .htaccess file, that means you should remove the old file and regenerate the new .htaccess file to fix the WordPress 500 error.
