• After the lockdown, Maharashtra notched a staggering 302 COVID-19 positive cases with the highest number from Mumbai.
• 72 new coronavirus patients were found in Maharashtra on Tuesday, 59 of them in Mumbai. 
• This is the largest increase in the number of cases within a day probably in the country.
• The state has 10 COVID-19 deaths, including 8 in Mumbai, and one each in Pune and Buldhana.
• Addressing the state late this evening, CM Uddhav Thackeray again appealed to people to remain indoors and maintain social distancing.
