How to open a port using Norton Internet Security?

norton.com/setup - Norton being a popular system protecting software, is being widely used by millions all over the world. It provides antivirus and spyware protection to your system whenever it faces any malware or antivirus. Though it is well suited to the users, if it still faces a few issues while working. One of such kind is when you are not able to use the sharing software or some multimedia processing applications. In such cases, you might have to open the respective ports these programs use in Norton Internet Security. You can do this norton install setup by

 

        Open Norton > Settings > Smart Firewall > Configure

        Add Rule Wizard > Allow > Next 

        Connect to and from other computers > Next  

        Only the computers and sites listed below > Add

        Individually > URL or website name > OK > Next

        Choose Only Communications that match all types and ports listed below > Add

        Individually specified ports > Port Number > OK > Next

        New name to the firewall > Next > Finish > Exit Norton
