How do I access AOL Email Using IMAP settings?

I am a sole user of AOL email account and using this emailing application for personal usage. I have a good hand in using AOL email functions and amazing features, hence I have good experience with this emailing application service. Now, I want to open my AOL mail messages and folders in Mac Mail. Due to some AOL IMAP settings problems, I am getting problems to open them appropriately. I have taken online help from AOL technicians, but nothing is successful. Hence, it has become a big issue for me. Can you advise the best solutions for solving settings problems?
