From my experience, deferment doesn't change how the loans are viewed with regards to your credit ranking score. They are considering loans in good standing, just like any loan with an effective repayment agreement. In conditions of looking for credit ranking, depending on the type of credit ranking score and the lender, they may consider that future payment in determining your debt-to-income ratio, which may restrict how much credit ranking you are able to apply for.
